They already have access to cheap raw materials.

Labor in Africa is cheaper than in Vietnam.

They know the international market.

They have relationships.

So they build a factory.

Then the numbers begin to change.

The same raw material that looked profitable as a trading product becomes difficult to process.

The factory produces kernels, but the cost keeps rising.

Stock begins to accumulate.

The selling price is lower than expected.
