What Is a Node?
Every system is built from components.
A website contains pages.
A book contains chapters.
A curriculum contains lessons.
A knowledge graph contains concepts.
An organization contains people and teams.
A neural network contains neurons.
A transportation system contains stations.
Activation Architecture refers to each of these meaningful components as a node.
A node is a point where activation can begin, arrive, pause, or continue.
By itself, a node contains potential.
It may hold information, capability, resources, or experience.
But potential alone does not create value.
A library filled with unread books contains enormous potential, yet little educational value until someone begins reading.

A page is a node.
Its effectiveness depends on whether visitors discover relevant next pages instead of leaving the site.

An employee or team can be viewed as a node.
