How to Sell When Buyers Start Moving
When buyers finally start moving,
most sellers think the hard part is over.
In reality,
this is where mistakes happen.
Because once buying begins,
the market does not move slowly.
It moves in bursts.
The first deals close quietly.
The next ones move faster.
Then suddenly, demand feels strong.
At that point, many sellers react the same way:
They hold.
They wait for higher prices.
They try to capture the peak.
And this is where opportunity is lost.
Selling in a rising market is not about maximizing price.
It is about managing execution.
When buyers return, liquidity improves.
But it does not last forever.
There is always a window where:
Buyers are active
Decisions are faster
Deals can be matched
That window is where selling should happen.
The mistake most sellers make
is confusing price movement with opportunity.
They think:
“If price is going up, I should wait.”
But in reality:
The best opportunity is not when price is highest.
It is when liquidity is strongest.
Because once buyers feel they have secured enough,
they stop.
And when they stop, the market goes quiet again.
This is why many sellers miss the cycle.
They don’t sell when buyers are active.
They wait until buyers disappear.
From a trading perspective,
the key question is not:
“How high can price go?”
It is:
“Can I sell now, efficiently, with real buyers in the market?”
The best sellers do not chase the top.
They sell into strength.
They recognize when:
Buyers are engaging
Deals are flowing
Market participation is real
And they act.
Because in commodities,
you don’t get paid for being right about the top.
You get paid for executing when the market allows you to.

Share Your Experience
What are you going through that is difficult to put into words?
It may be financial pressure, insomnia, caregiving, burnout, leadership stress, uncertainty, relationship challenges, or an experience that feels difficult to explain.
You do not need to write perfectly. Simply tell your story.
You may share:
- What is happening in your life right now?
- What has been on your mind the most lately?
- What feels most difficult, stressful, or exhausting?
- What have you tried so far?
- What surprised you?
- If you could give this experience a name, what would you call it?
Not every experience needs an immediate solution. Sometimes the first step is simply finding language for what you are experiencing.
