ROOT QI REFLEX – A TYPE OF REFLEX THE WORLD HAS NOT CLASSIFIED YET
(Explore the foundation of Code Bản Thể: Definition of Code Bản Thể : https://codebanthe.com/code-ban-the-la-gi/ )
Why can only 0.001% of people do it and why has no one on YouTube reproduced this mechanism correctly?
In recent weeks, I recorded a series of “no-thought” reflexes while catching falling objects in noisy, unstable environments sometimes standing on a basketball, sometimes catching with crossed arms, sometimes catching one object, sometimes two.
What’s interesting: viewers often mistake it for technique, while the underlying mechanism is something entirely different.
This is a precise explanation from physiology, Qi-dynamics, and perception for anyone who wants to understand what is actually happening.
1. Not a technique but a reflex before thought
In juggling, balancing, or freestyle trick videos online, performers rely on:
years of repeated training
pre-programmed movement formulas
calculated angles, trajectories, and force
conscious control of the hands
But the reflexes I captured do not follow that pathway.
The movement happens before thought forms.
The body–axis–Qi coordinate without the “command” of conscious intention.
This is not a trick.
It is body-before-mind a mechanism that sports, martial arts, and stage performance still cannot fully describe.
I call it:
Root Qi Reflex – Somatic Field Intelligence.
2. Comparing with well-known online performers
A close comparison would be Chinese performers balancing on rollers, juggling multiple objects extremely impressive visually.
But the mechanism is completely different.
Performer reflexes:
rely on muscular force for balance
depend on trained technical patterns
every action passes through conscious control
logic: calculate → execute
Root Qi Reflex:
no counter-force, no muscular bracing
the spinal axis stands on its own
the body moves before thought
reflex arises from the “sensory field,” not technique
logic: instant sensing → instant response
A viewer may find performers more spectacular, but the subtlety of no-thought reflexes lies beneath the surface, not in visual drama.
3. The 14 Levels and where YouTube currently stops
After reviewing thousands of juggling/trick/reflex videos worldwide, the distribution looks like this:
Level 1–5: common
Level 6–8: uncommon
Level 9–10: extremely rare (true zero-delay reflex)
Level 11–12: nearly nonexistent
Level 13–14: I have not found any public examples
Some of the videos I recently filmed
standing on a ball, catching two objects with crossed arms in 0.1–0.2 seconds, without directly looking at them
belong to the unstable-base + cross-vector reflex category, which does not appear in technical schools or performer traditions.
I am not claiming to be “better.”
I am simply documenting a phenomenon that YouTube has not yet classified.
4. Why people understand it but cannot do it
During coffee with friends, they tried to replicate the reflex and couldn’t.
Not because they are lacking ability.
But because:
they rely on conscious intention → reflex delayed by 0.3–0.5 seconds
they use muscular tension → the axis locks
they “imitate the movement” → imitation turns it into technique
they cannot enter the empty-yet-awake state
Root Qi Reflex cannot be trained by repeating something 1,000 times.
It appears only when the nervous system, breath, and spinal axis operate in a single unified rhythm.
5. Conclusion for those who are genuinely curious
I believe the human body contains layers of capacity that have not yet been named or classified.
Not for performance, but for deeper understanding of:
how body–Qi–brain interact
how reflex can precede thought
how the sensory field operates beyond current scientific language
I will continue recording the Levels as an open dataset — for anyone interested in studying, analyzing, or discussing further.
If someday the scientific community or physical-education researchers want to dive deeper, I am willing to share raw data.
For me, this is not performance.
It is an exploration of the most subtle mechanism in human nature:
the coordination of Clarity — Body — Axis — Qi.

Share Your Experience
What are you going through that is difficult to put into words?
It may be financial pressure, insomnia, caregiving, burnout, leadership stress, uncertainty, relationship challenges, or an experience that feels difficult to explain.
You do not need to write perfectly. Simply tell your story.
You may share:
- What is happening in your life right now?
- What has been on your mind the most lately?
- What feels most difficult, stressful, or exhausting?
- What have you tried so far?
- What surprised you?
- If you could give this experience a name, what would you call it?
Not every experience needs an immediate solution. Sometimes the first step is simply finding language for what you are experiencing.
Human Experience Atlas was created to help people see, recognize, and map the experiences they are living through.
