This is where many people misunderstand performance.
They believe stronger decision-making comes from collecting more information.
Sometimes it does.
But not always.
A powerful decision system is not necessarily the one with the largest amount of data.
It is the one that recognizes which signals actually matter.
In the cashew business, a short phone call from the right person can sometimes be more valuable than hundreds of pages of reports.
Not because information is unimportant.
But because relevant information matters more than abundant information.
The same principle applies everywhere.

Relationships.
Life.
Many people do not suffer from a lack of information.
They suffer from an excess of noise.
The modern world produces more data than any human system can fully process.

Rumors.
Endless streams of competing signals.
When everything appears important, clarity begins to disappear.
The challenge is no longer access to information.
The challenge is signal selection.

Not gathering more.
Not reacting faster.
But learning to distinguish signal from noise before action occurs.
Perhaps the quality of life depends less on how much you know.
And more on which signals your internal system is choosing to act upon.
Maybe the real question is not:
“What decision should I make?”
But:
“What information is my system treating as important before the decision is even made?”
