Most people judge a piece of writing by what it contains.

Is the information accurate?

A productive cognitive gap creates curiosity rather than confusion.

3. Which question has now become unavoidable?

The strongest chapters do not force readers toward another topic.

They make the next question feel inevitable.

The reader does not continue because they are persuaded.

They continue because the current explanation naturally generates the next problem.

When this happens, transition no longer depends on external motivation.

It becomes a property of the knowledge architecture itself.

Imagine two readers finishing the same article.

The first says,

“Interesting.”
